The boat trip to Rinca and the other surrounding islands of this archipelago is a wonderful experience. Enjoy the beauty of the nature around Flores. Discover the corals of Pink Beach, see the Manta Rays at Manta point.

The boat is an original Phinisi ship. Built according to the traditional Indonesian style. You should spend the night on deck of the ship and enjoy the beautiful sight of the stars.

Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Bidadari Island – Kelor Island – Rinca

  • We leave Labuan Bajo Harbour at 9.00 AM heading to two beautiful spots, Bidadari Island and Kelor Island. The main activity of the day is enjoying the sailing trip, snorkelling and relaxing on the beach. We serve lunch on the boat.

  • After lunch, we set sail to Kalong Rinca Island to see the thousands of Flying Foxes departing at 6 pm. We will continue our trip to Waenilu Island where we will spend the night on the boat.

Day 2: Rinca – Komodo – Pink beach – Lasa Island

  • Early in the morning,  we set sail to Rinca Island or Loh Buaya.  In Loh Buaya, will go trekking to see the famous Komodo Dragons in the wild. On this island, it’s easier to spot the Komodo dragon in the wild because the habitat is smaller than on Komodo Island (Loh Liang). The dragons here in Loh Buaya are more aggressive because they are not fed like on Komodo Island. Besides the dragon, you can also spot cattle, buffalo, monkeys, partridge, etc.

  • After our trek here we sail to Pink Beach.  The Pink Beach is the best place to snorkel. The coral reefs, the fishes and the beach itself are breathtaking. The beach of Pink Beach has a pink colour. The Pink colour comes from the abrasion of coral reefs. After Pink beach, we sail to Long Liang (Komodo Island).

  • PS: If you want we can stay longer in Pink beach and skip the trip to Komodo. It’s also best to take the short or medium trekking at Komodo island. Otherwise, we can’t complete the whole program.

  • Last stop of the day is Lasa island where we will have dinner on the beach.

Day 3: Manta Point – Manta Point – Gili Laba Island – Labuan Bajo

  • Early in the morning before breakfast, you can visit a traditional Komodo village. You can experience daily life and buy some handmade souvenirs.

  • In the late morning, we set sail to Karang Makasar (Manta Ray Point) to see the Manta Ray and various sea creatures across the Coral Reefs. Look for a glimpse of wingtips breaking the surface or the shadowy form of a manta gliding under the boat.

  • After the incredible site of the manta rays, we will be heading to Gili Laba Island. This is one of the most beautiful islands of the  Komodo region and a perfect spot to snorkel and do a light trekking to witness a fantastic view.
