Day 1: Hanoi – Mu Cang Chai
An early morning drive takes you from Hanoi to the rural district Mu Cang Chai.
Enjoy your restaurant lunch in Nghia Lo before continuing this amazing route. Fortunately there are many picture opportunities along the way as the many green rice terraces are stunning.
Upon arrival in Mu Cang Chai, you check in and have dinner at a homestay.
Day 2: Mu Cang Chai
Today is a trekking day. Explore the many rice terraces with your local guide and pay special attention to La Pa Tan and Che Cu Nha village, as these two have the most beautiful terraces in the region.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before driving to Tu Le Town where you check in and have dinner at a local hostel.
Day 3: Mu Cang Chai – Hanoi
After breakfast, a short trek takes you to the Tu Le villages. Although the rice terraces are not as extended as those in Mu Cang Chai, you get a chance to meet and talk to local people and learn about their culture and daily life.
Lunch is provided in Nghia Lo before you drive back to Hanoi.

We were amazed by the stunning beauty of Mu Can Chai - all those lush green rice terraces, really pretty!
