At Mount Meratus in South Kalimantan and Mount Tangkiling in Central Kalimantan Province, you can explore these mountains’ rivers below the wind. Some of the animals along these rivers in the lowland forest are proboscis monkeys water buffaloes, langurs, orangutans, and crocodiles. You cruise the Rungan to spot the Pulau Kaja orangutans by boat, and on the banks of the Angsana, you can look for monkeys, many species of birds and even crocodiles.

Love Kalimantan!

Loved every single bit of Kalimantan and this tour! Wish I could spend MUCH more time in this stunning environment, with its precious fauna and flora and its extremely friendly people. I honestly hope Kalimantan may remain authentic, pretty and peaceful for many many many years to come.
