Discover Flores at its best! This 4-day Komodo park tour takes you to see the Komodo dragons. You spend all nights on board of your vessel. Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Kelor, Pempeng and Kalong Island
Upon arrival at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo, you are welcomed by our representative and transferred to Labuan Bajo’s pier. From here, you sail to Kelor, Pempen and Kalong Island.
Lunch is served on board. The exotic islands of Kelor and Pempeng are perfect for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling.
Dinner and overnight stay are on your boat, near Kalong Island. This island is famous for its hundreds of flying foxes, flying out of the mangrove trees between 6 and 7 pm. You can witness this spectacular event during sunset.
Day 2: Kalong Island – Rinca Island – Pink Beach
At 6 am you sail towards Rinca Island, home of the Komodo dragons.
At Rinca, you start your 2-hour hike through the typical dry forest in search of the Komodo dragons, deer, buffalo, long-tailed macaque, wild pigs and different bird species. Don’t forget to look up, as there might be young Komodo dragons relaxing up in the trees. A local rangers guides and accompanies you during this exploration.
Afterwards, you sail to Kambing Island for snorkeling, before continuing towards nearby Pink Beach for more snorkeling, diving, swimming and relaxing.
Dinner and overnight stay are on you boat, near Pink Beach.
Day 3: Pink Beach – Komodo Island – Manta Point – Sebayur Kecil – Kanawa Island
After breakfast, you sail to Komodo Island’s ranger station, Loh Liang, where you depart on a guided medium trek to see Komodo dragons and other wild animals.
You return to the boat and sail to Manta Point, where you can snorkel with huge manta rays. Sometimes you can even admire them from the boat. As with all wild animals, we can’t guarantee seeing manta rays, as it depends on the weather, waves and current. Lunch is served on board.
Late in the afternoon, you sail to Sebayur Kecil and Kanawa Islands for more snorkeling and relaxing.
Dinner and overnight stay are on the boat near Kanawa Island.
Day 4: Kanawa Island – Bidadari Island – Labuan Bajo
Today you sail to Bidadari Island, where you can snorkel and relax on the white sandy beach.
Afterward, you continue to Labuan Bajo, where you are dropped of at your hotel or the airport.
