Discover Flores at its best! The Komodo park tour takes you to see the Komodo dragons. You stay two nights on board our boat and one night in a hotel. Check out the different options for this trip and see which one suits you best. Have a look at the itinerary below to know the full program of this particular trip.
Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Bidadari Island
Upon arrival at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo, you meet our representative and drive to the hotel for check-in.
After lunch, you go to the harbor to take the 30-minute boat trip to Bidadari Island for snorkeling, relaxing or swimming.
In the late afternoon, you return to Labuan Bajo for overnight stay.
Day 2: Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Komodo Island
After breakfast at your hotel, you go to the pier of Labuan Bajo. Today you visit Rinca Island, home of the famous Komodo dragons. After 2 1/2 hours sailing, you start trekking through the typical dry forest of Rinca Island. Apart from dragons, you can also spot deer, buffalos, long-tailed macaques, wild pigs and numerous species of birds.
After the trek, you return to the boat and sail to Kalong Island to see the flying foxes leaving the mangrove trees between 6 and 7 pm.
Lunch, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3: Komodo – Pink Beach – Manta Point – Labuan Bajo
In the early morning, you start your trek on Komodo Island. Komodo is a special reserve where the Komodo dragons are protected. A local ranger guides you through the dry forest to explore the island and to spot dragons, deer, wild pigs and numerous birds such as the lesser-sulphur-crested-cockatoo and the colorful kingfisher.
After your hike, you return to the boat and set course to Pink Beach for swimming and snorkeling. In this unspoiled coral reef, you can swim amongst colorful tropical fish. You continue sailing to Manta Point to snorkel with huge manta rays.
In the afternoon, you head back to Labuan Bajo for check-in at your hotel.
Day 4: Labuan Bajo
After breakfast and a short sightseeing city tour, you visit the Batu Cermin Cave, 75 by 75 meters wide and home to many stalactites and stalagmites. Some tunnels are narrow and dark but in others the sunlight falls through the cracks and causes beautiful effects.
You have the opportunity to visit a local market before your transfer to the airport or your hotel.

Great wildlife mini-safari!
Deze 4-daagse trip is eigenlijk een soort 'mini-safari', en zoals op elke safari is er nooit enige garantie dat je effectief dieren in hun natuurlijke habitat zult zien. In Rinca hebben we quasi niets gespot, maar op Komodo Island hebben we wel twee grote mannelijke komodo dragons van dichtbij kunnen bewonderen, wat best impressionant was. Bij Manta Point hebben we het geluk gehad verschillende manta rays te zien, en telkens we gingen snorkelen zagen we schildpadden en vele andere soorten kleurrijke vissen. Leuke en goed georganiseerde trip!
