Rinjani summit trekking is an amazing experience. Mount Rinjani is Indonesia’s second highest and most beautiful volcano and has a lot to offer. Conquering the volcano and camping on the crater rim with its beautiful sunset and sunrise is an experience you will never forget. I – one of the Mundooz owners – did this climb 20 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. For security reasons, the Rinjani summit trekking is not available from January until the end of March. Please note that you need to be fit and in good health for climbing Mount Rinjani.

Challening but rewarding trek

Wow, what an amazing experience to say the least! This trek was by far one of the most challenging and rewarding accomplishments to date. We were hesitant to climb Rinjani initially because we had read other reviews and weren't sure we were fit enough. But so glad we went along in the end, you won't have any regrets. Thanks for looking after us and showing us your beautiful country. We really hope to come back some day.
